Thank you jas.
I have the Drifter and I love it. For a wide kayak it is also fast. I use my kayak in the N/E where the water is a lot colder than yours in the spring and fall season so I needed to find a solution for the water problem you are now experiencing. I bought the scupper stoppers but they would leak and if I pushed them down hard they would go all the way through the scupper hole. So all I did was put a few wraps of duck tape around each scupper stopper(4). Now I put my scupper stoppers on and they completely seal the scupper holes so there is absolutely no water that comes through the holes. Now I have a totally dry ride. Plus now with the duck tape around each stopper there is no way I can possibly push the stopper completely through the hole. Its now a very tight fit.
