Slow fishing today. We launched to minimal surf but the water was really choppy. Couldn't find any good current all morning. Just a bunch of chop with zero movement; thought I was fishing in a washing machine on low cycle. Fished plastics for a couple of rockfish and sandbass. Seemed like the Dogfish were out in full force as well. Visability was about 3-4ft at best.
Met a long time hardcore yak angler (regularly yak fishes Kona) out there up from Torrance looking for Threshers (nice meeting you Randy). I saw some good bait signs, I hope he hooked. If I wasn't showing someone the ropes today, I might have joined ya.
