Did anyone contact the Coast Guard? If not, I think they should. I just sent an e-mail to Islandia. I wrote:The kayak message boards are full of allegations that the Dolphin makes a practice of coming far too close to kayakers who are peacefully fishing. You must do something to stop this practice. Everyone involved should understand the potential for real trouble from these incidents. Let's let them at least hear a lot of noise. It seems I was a little less tactful in my response to Islandia. It was apparently a deliberate attempt to satisfy some deep seated animosity. Before you pass this off, know that I have been verbally assailed by the moron who runs this ship before. Sheesh. Two doctors (mine's just a Ph.D.)and an assistant city manager. All we need is a lawyer. I happen to be married to one but she does criminal defense so maybe the captain will need her.
