Big Sur Camping other than State Parks?

I know of a few campgrounds other than state (Botchers Gap, Fernwood, Plasket Creek). Does anyone know what the best bet is for "non state park" tent campground in the Big Sur area? Preferably with bathroom/shower facilities. You need to usually reserve far in advance for state parks at this time of the year.
