: I'll probably be out there then, I plan to start the morning off by heading south of the harbor to the boiler rocks first for awhile then head back in later to fish the actual harbor. I'll be launching about 7ish. I have a yellow OK scupper classic. I had a good day in the harbor last week, I caught 17 in about 2 1/2 hours, 16 spotted bay bass and one 25 inch white sea bass, I know there are also some halibut and sand bass hanging out around the Newport bait company barge too but most of the sandies are out on the flats spawning. The Calico's were wide open for me last Thursday south of dana point, hopefully they will be wide open south of Newport Harbor Monday mourning too. Hope to see ya out there.
