Ken,
Don't waste your time with a kayak like that. If you are going to go fishing from a kayak get one that was designed as a fishing kayak in the first place. Stick with a quality plastic sit on top kayak in the 12 1/2 foot range. Don't worry about hauling it on your car. You can get a set up for your vehicle no problem. Thousands of people transport thier kayaks on top of thier cars all the time. I would recomend that you go out and try some kayaks out first before you buy
anything.
