More thoughts....maybe you can still mount the transducer in the yak and save space on top since its' on your wrist, don't forget the wrist watch though...
Maybe you can tie it to the back of your yak and troll it around, might get tangled when fighting a fish though....hmmmmmm...
It would be cool to tie that ahead of your lure or bait and you might get an edge on setting the hook, or you can see the fish come by and not bite so you know your presentation is off....
I'm bored as you can see...good luck anyhow on choosing a product.

Has anyone tried the new Humminbird SmartCast RF30 Fish Finder? I am in the market for a fishfinder and thought this may be a more compact way to go the display is wrist mounted and they sell it at REI.com. Any input would be appreciated.Thanks,Jeff
