Attitude Adjusting Paddle

I fish freshwater....and often the kayak turns at an odd angle for casting. I made a small paddle out of quarter inch luan plywood about the size and shape of an 8 inch frypan. Spray painted the heck out of it, especially the edges and use it often to adjust the attitude of the kayak rather than having to use the larger paddle.
