Pretty much the same reason as you, I like to control the flow thru the sprayer head rather than the voltage. Seems like during the summer months I keep the bait tank running more often with more flow if not all the time, and during the colder months I don't have to keep it on as long with less flow, maybe cuz the water temp doesn't get influenced by the sun rays? Does warm water get rid of oxygen faster or not able to retain it as long? Also, I run my finder off the same battery and I don't know if my finder will work off of 6volts.

: Greg,I pretty much never use bungies unless forced to. I love zipties and they mke a very secure tie down. When I get my Tandem out of the mountains, I'll give it a try.How come you aren't using a 6 volt battery?-Ted
