I have two flush mounted rod holders behind the seat of my PRO. I installed them about two years ago and haven’t had any problem yet. I bought them from CKF and the bottoms weren’t sealed so I used the material that I removed from the yak to plug the bottom of the rod holder. I used marine grade silicon as a gasket.
