I am an east coast yakker, no surf launches for this old man. I ordered an eXtreme from malibu because of the rave reviews by all who have tested or bought one. It must be one great yak. I just sold my FnD to make room. Awsome storage, fast, good tracking, owners claim it is even more stable than the FnD. With only pictures and written reports I depended on Malibus awsome reputation.
I use an electric 40 lb thrust Minn Kota Maxum motor and get in excess of 7 knots with the FnD.
With the sleek lines of the eXtreme I expect to do even better....can't wait for its arrival...yum yum yellow of course!
