All these posts about taking your kid out gives me a warm fuzzy. Just had to add my $.02. I have been taking my 12 year old boy yakking for a few years. If your proud of your son now, wait till he's on his own yak and starts outfishing you. My son has a Scupper Classic and a Pro Explorer of his own. Granted, I have to buy double accessories for everything, but I wouldn't change that for the world. I take more pride in his catches than my own. He gets a little spooked offshore still (thinks a thresher will tow him to Hawaii LMAO). Only had a problem one time in severe whitecaps. His arms tired out so I had to tow him in. No problem. No one on this earth I'd rather be on the water with. Can you imagine how good he'll be in 20 years. Life is very very good.
