My tank looks a lot like Quietman's except that I went with the bilge pump instead of a the aerator pump. It doesn't look as clean as Quietman's, because the pump hangs over the side. The benifit is that I don't have to prime the pump and the connections are simplified. The intake side is just a pump (rule 360) - 1" ID hose, PVC right angle connector.
By the way the stuff Quietman has on his site and his posts have been a great help to me, not only on the tank, but also fishing Dana Point. I have caught a lot of fish because of his posts. Thanks.
