Hey guys,
I fished out of Newport this morning paddled all the way down to Reef Point (Crystal Cove) I met up with Dave (DPliska) he had been on the water before I had gotten he had not seen any action except for some macs we started trolling Krocs back toward little Corona half way back came upon TONS of bait boiling and jumping we stopped and worked the bait ball for almost 20 minutes for nothing except for one large mac we continued a troll to little Corona finding bait balls two more times back but all for nothing. We fished the small patch reefs for some frisky calicos and a few sandies really nice weather and glassy water most of the day. I am hitting it again next Sunday if anyone is interested I plan on paddling down to Reef Point in Crystal Cove to fish the reffs and kelp paddies.
