Super easy launch into total glass water from Escondido creek.
Fished from 6 til 9:30. never saw a soul out there.
Anyways found a short and a 37lb halibut which I caught twice.
Lost her in the kelp and in about 10 min and a 100ft
away I hooked her again and found my other hook in
her mouth.
On the way back I found a pretty good bass bite
on the plastics.
I found 4 halibut there last wed with Jason.
0ne was short. 1 barely lagal, an 8 and a 12lb'der.
And also caught 6 bigger size sand bass.
Rusty just called me from the same area and has caught 2 legals so far.
Tons of bait. all kinds, chovys sardines spanish and green macs but the best bet were the smelt.
Trying Leo tomorrow (mon)I think.
