I never heard of the pro explorer having a live bait well...if you use the hatch between your legs you lose access to storage unless you squat 'n' bump your way up to the big hatch. Most guys who have that make a bait tank for the rear and utilize the two scupper holes for in/out of the water. Ted just purchased a pro explorer and i'm sure he has it all worked out in his head...hopefully he'll post a message for you.
