With thick schools of chovies and dines, bait wasn't hard to find. Though smelt ended up being the hot ticket yesterday. After a few hours of bouncing for nothing, I got to sit on the side lines and watch Jimbo rake in 2 nice halibut caught with smelt. We both got into sandbass action but Jimbo conquered the flatties. Nice size too.
