Good points about the locations. I've always advised those venturing to the Headlands to be prepared for a paddle and make sure they are well equipt. When the wind and chop comes in, it makes for a real tough paddle. Halibuts are a definate winner for fishing there as I've caught alot of halibuts there over the years. From inside, to just outside, to way outside, to drifting the face of Doheney, halibuts is king there. The bass are fun, and the others are a bonus you may or may not get. TC&TL,
