A lot of us are more or less uninterested in responding to a question about brand preference, as it has been extensively covered. Use the search function on these boards, and you will find all the past discussion and arguments.
You might want to post your email address so we might have some idea who you are. (I am more inclined to respond with an email on a subject of preference than with a post)
Bottom line, go paddle some models, list the pros and cons on a paper (speed, stability, cost, resale value, payload, tracking, ability to organize to suit your needs, etc), and make a decision.
