: Had to go back used same plug 5in smelt look alike. Paddled up Topanga and then out caught 4 sandbass on way out. got a 20in halibut right off. about 20 min later I finally got a 27.5 in. that plug caught 5 halibut in 2days not bad at all.I was out pretty far about a mile or so. I dont have a meter so just go out and find bait on the surface,low tech but it works for me. I dont have my eXtreme yet but cant wait. Jack
