Yep, slept in again!
Sunday I caught two nearly identical Halibut, and the one I kept weighted 14 pounds- see the picture. I also caught a number of 2-4 pound sand bass and a mixed bag of other fun stuff, short WSB and 'cudas.
Wednesday I went to the Harbor again since there were
no reports of action at La Jolla, or local for that matter, so I just slept in and played snuggle-bunnies with my wife and had breakfast with the kids and then went fishing around 0800.
I got some chovies and hit my usual spots in the harbor, with the usual results. Not as busy as Sunday (both fish and traffic) but then the tides were not as good today.
Sand Bass, Halibut, WSB, lots of smooth hound sharks for some reason.
My buddy Yanni met me in his shark donut, so I kept a couple of the legal halibut and one of the grumpies to give him. He is a fish-eating Greek! He keeps his dead Deanos and fries 'em up when he gets home...
I then had Yanni take a picture of me goofy around on my FnD...
