Tady AA and 9's are my favorite sizes. If I had to pick one lure and one lure only to use... It would be a #9.

I LOVE casting Iron. I honestly feel they are one of the most versatile lures around. You can get hammerd on the drop, do a slow jerk and retreive for a wounded bait look, fast retreive for a Mack on the run approach, or simply jig up and down for everything from Rock Fish and Lings, to Monster Bass.

Emphatically NO... They are not too big.

Favorite colors:
Blue Rim faded to white Center
Green Rim to Yellow Faded to White Center
Brown to White Center

and for jigging for lings and rock fish... Purple faded to black in #9 or Bigger.

But Never take a Knife to a gun fight. There is no sure bet so don't forget the fish traps, krokodiles, and live bait.

Big Bait = Big Fish

Ric
