That's a helluva paddle...I would bring a little bit of everything, would hate to get skunked after a paddle like that. I'm not an iron user, only carry a couple, but I would recommend bringing some plastics (fishtraps/big hammers/blams....etc.) those are my preferences.

: do you think that an AA tady lure or a tady 9 is too big for 3-5 miles out of carlsbad in the kelp? fishing for like sand....calico...and kelp bass.....are these lures too big?
