: It sounds like you've kayaked on the Big Island before!?! No, though there's lots of kayaking in Kealakekua Bay, these photos (and fish) were taken from a place much farther south. (I won't tell you exactly where until I'm too old to kayak any more!)Good fishin'!
Hey Steve, Yes I have done lots of fishing and paddling on the Big Island. Mostly Kona area as our family has a home in Napoopoo that we stay at every summer for a couple of weeks. Fishing kayaks and a 17' Whaler are waiting, and calling for me to go fish. Growing up in the islands, gave me a great apreciation for the ocean and all the fun it can provide, nice job on your fish, and maybe we can hook up while I am out there. Tight lines Rhino
