: : Cabela's has LED's now for bow and stern lights running around 22bucks each; a little cheaper than the other set, and running 100 hours compared to 8 hours of the earlier model. Davey, Where's the link? I'll go by and check them out. BTW, have you seen the lights made by Scotty? Kayak Fishing Gear just started carrying them. They're waterproof, Coast Guard Approved and they will fit into an existing Scotty rod holder base (comes with a base also and 20" pole). They also have a suction cup version (though the surface has to be totally smooth for the suction to work).I use them when I launch before sunlight or when there's heavy fog. THe light can be removed from the extension stick to be worn on a PFD (visable up to 2+ miles). They won't light up the ocean, but they're a good added safety measure. jas

These are in the Marine section at Cabela's, but I forgot to include they are C-clamp mounted.
