: Anyone use NRS HyroSkin John Wet Suit in the Los Angeles area? If so, what season is it good for and what season is it NOT good for? Any information will be appreciated.

I purchased one recently and put it to the test on the recent mothership trip from hell in Santa Barbara. The most comfortable wetsuit I have ever worn, very flexible and remarkably warm given that it is only 1.5mm. However, Jason's sentiments are right on: I wouldn't want to be treading water in it until the temp gets above 60 or so. It is essential to purchase some type of paddle jacket to go with it. I got the Runoff jacket and love it. Very light weight, very flexible in the arms and very warm, perfect for the mild S.B./L.A. conditions.
