Belive it or not, I do work EVERY DAY. I just need to fix my addiction before work.
Weatherman was a little off this morning. Supposed to be light and variable wind and 2-3 foot surf. Wind was blowing 8-10 knots off shore and swell was 5 footers at 4 seconds on the point. Found the bait, waiting for me in the same area, just north of the point. My first hook up was a Cuda on a lil Greenie, released. Looked over at another yakker, just in time to see a 100# T Shark going aerial, it broke off very quickly. Made my way around the big finger of kelp that juts north and hooked up right where it curves west. Landed a 25# WSB around 7:30 on a Spanish Mac, on 20#. Right after another guy lost a 25#er to a dog, right at the boat.

As I was taking a picture of this huge WSB on Robert's kayak, my lil Green Mac gets picked up on 15#. Luckily it pulled me away from the kelp and landed a 15# YT. The wind died a little before shifting out of the south, and was now picking up again. We had been pushed well off the kelp and I decided to start heading in with a Mac out on one side and a 6" Storm Sardine on the other. Awhile later the Mac goes off and as I am swinging on that one I hear my noisy TLD go "RRRRRRR RRRRRRR RRRRR" BENDO in gear, in the rod holder. I kept working the bait fish, but managed to pull the hook. Went back to the now slack line of the Storm. Started winding and found an 18# YT at the end. Right after that a couple guys pull up, yelling "Andy" turned out to be Vermonster and Hirise. Nice finally meeting you guys, hope you found the late bite. Today was a personal best for me, I'd need a bigger kayak to hold any more.
Andy
