A compass, Yes that is a good Idea but how does one effectivly use the compass lost in fog? or in the dark? Head east until you bump into something?
If i head out of zuma lets say (south facing beach) and go out a mile and the fog comes in I would think to head north, I could pass zuma altogether! Not to sound dim witted but I don't really get it.
