: Richard,If I could have swung it, I would have been all over that trip. I figured, leaving at 6 you would be fishing around 8. Then seeing the great weather, it was almost painful. I know squid is scarce and expensive, did you guys have any live bait? Anybody else have anything big? Thanks for the report.Andy
..Mark towed a mac around, until they stamped it's passport, with no luck. As I said in my post, the fish were fairly deep and had to be coaxed. I think all of the fish were CB but only 4 of, I'm guessing, 60+ were kept so I'm not positive. I did, however,
battle tooth and nail with a fiesty 12" Whitefish I caught on a whole dead squid at 100 ft'. I also ended up winning the drawing for the OK Drifter which was quite exciting to me but I was sure my wife would be less than thrilled. I told her I was bringing home some Tupperware. Needless it was a cold meeting at the driveway.
