I just like them as bait. When they spawn there can be a feeding frenzy going on. A few of us got a WSB and 3 legal halibut(25",28", 35") from shore on the new moon's run. Guys that eat them will head and gut them, dip in flour and fry them until crispy.Eat them bones and all. Never tried them, maybe someday. You are scooping them up with your hands (the only legal method). We were flylining them. on 10_12#. Hopefully they will make a showing Thurs- Sun.
