The opener is Saturday March 29th, so I am looking for a little time in between so we can locate some fish and put us in a better position to hook up on our outing. Re: Salmon in So-Cal? Great, have some fun and limits! I will fish the Smith river in Nor-Cal this year for the salmon up here. Went to Trinidad Bay last year and never got to fish, because a charter boat let me have a few salmon from their catch and I had to rush home and put them in the freezer. I will be eating salmon for the rest of this week. TL
