Normally, I search the net for the cheapest online deals. I just purchased a new Humminbird 405sx. I searched a bunch of places. For some reason, the online Kmart store was the cheapest. I printed out the page w/ the fishfinder/sonar and price. I then took it to West Marine. There are a bunch of West Marines, check
their site for the one closest to you. Show them the page w/ the price on it. They will match it. You have to pay tax, unlike the online stores out of state, but you won't have to pay for shipping. Sort of cancil each other out.
West Marine prices are "ok". But I wouldn't show up there w/ out a print out from one of their competitors reflecting a lower price.
