Took the yak to Dana Saturday, and it was wide open on the LOG barracudas, and I mean LOGS. I caught three that had to be pushing 10 pounds, plus a number of 29-30 inchers and the usual 24" shakers.

So I returned today, Sunday, with my Buddy FinnFisher and my Bro ParCam and all three of my yaks.

It wasn't as wide open as Saturday, but I still had a blast, and some variety this time.

Just minutes after launching and setting up the trolling rods got slammed and had a very fun spirited fight on my freshwater bass rod, millionaire reel and 10# test flourocarbon line for a 26" very nice looking White Sea Bass.

It hit my orange/gold rebel fastrac and was a sign of things to come, as all my "good" fish today came on that same, now kinda trashed looking, lure.

I caught three keeper sized Barracuda, but no monsters like saturday. Today all the Barracuda were 29"ers or shorter. Caught 6 or 7 shorts. I also caught another BIG WSB, or rather farmed him fumbling for my camera for another picture, just as well. He looked just short of 28" and hit the lure so hard it stopped my FnD Kayak and towed me around for a while. Fun.

We went over to Doheny just for a look-see, but the wind was blowing and the swell was up and the direction was making it unwise to fish our shallow spots, so back we went.

VERY fun day with my bro and my friend, and some sporty and enthusiastic fishes!
