I have been trading all kinds of stuff on eBay since 98. There's some in's and out's to making good deals on there. Most of it involves risk and an iron stomach. I bought a Penn 500s from a guy in Hawaii for $30.00 and I was thinking, it's got to have some corrosion or something I can't see in the picture. I just unwrapped it an hour ago. Perfect brand new condition with very little use.
The only bummer right now is that Squidders go for a premium on eBay. Those will take some time before I can make a deal on one.
I think when May rolls around reel prices will move up with the season. That's why I went after the 113 now.
