Anchor was tested in 10-15 feet over sand with rocks and weeds. Very little current, small to moderate swell and some wind, less than 10 knots.

I tried from 2:1 to 7:1 scope.

This anchor would drag until it hit a clump of weed or rocks, and then occasionally come loose again with swell and drag some more.

Pretty much just like my 1 pound grapnel.

I do think this new one was slightly better, but of course it is also bigger and heavier.
