Launched the JARbrew at 1300 with my buddy FinnFisher in my #2 yak, the NAV. After a quick peek out to the open ocean we settled down to killing 'em off Doheny, like always.

I used freshwater bass plastics,a power-pulse worm, and crave gravy.
We both had steady action until it got dark and we went home.
Made a nice dry landing in the lee of the short jetty.

My totals were 11 halibut, 4 keepers. Kept one. One 26" FAT white sea bass, great fight on ultra light trout rod. I also caught sculpin and a bunch of fat YF croakers, plus dozens of surf perch. I was catching perch 5 at a time on my 5 hook sabiki.

Finnfisher had steady action as well, on the usual rainbow trout fishtraps. We couldn't get hooked up on the giant Yellowtail, but will be at LJ looking soon. Lol!

All fish were released, except the one 25" halibut that went home with me.
Nice and easy afternoon of fishing for us.
