I ended up going with Yakima. I took Steve A.'s advice and went up a couple sizes on the crossbars from 48" to 66". I'd feel sorta dumb if I went with the 48" since some of my kayaks are as wide as 32". Two 32" kayaks on 48" crossbars wouldn't have worked.
Great advice Steve!!! And thanks for everyone elses input. My first fear kayak fishing are wreckless boaters. My 2nd fear is losing the kayaks off the top of the car. I'm going to take it real easy when it's windy.
How big of a difference is the wind drag with or without a fairing? I'd imagine the fairing's help would be considerable.
