: Launched this am w/ OCEANHUNTER. It was calm and overcast. Deep mist felt like drizzle. It was extremely slow fishing for us.
: I managed to scrape a nice white fish, chubby sculpin, and the biggest sole I think I've ever caught.
: Wind picked up a bit. Off the water by 12:30. Great to be out there.

I saw your riggs on the side of the road, launched infront of Malibu Seafood and headed out and up to the kelp with my client. Lots of bait tight to the kelp, along with the resident pod of Porpoise playing and feeding in tight as well. All action was in 25 -35 feet of water tight to the kelp beds outer edges. Sandbass were it, one fish each, released.Fish were landed on small bucktail mega bait jig tipped with squid or the 4" Boiler crab fish trap, 3/4 head, tipped with squid. The chowder at the restaurant after helped us warm back up after 3-1/2 hours of slow fishing, on the cold overcast day it was. Water was dirty and off color. Better luck next time, TL Rhino
