As fate would have it, my best friend has a house on Carancahua Bay. We fish the hell outta that area to much avail. The south shoreline of Matagorda looks like a PRIME kayak fishing area, but we routinely SPANK the trout and reds in Turtle Bay just outside of Palacios Harbor. Drop me an email when you're down this year. I'd love to chase Texas reds with ya!
I appreciate the feedback; once I actually saw the boat in person, the tankwell made perfect sense. Staying dry isn't an issue to me, or I'd be shopping a traditional, decked boat. Peace.
