Hi, I’m Scott. Those are cool photos of you bass. I’m 14 years old, just started kayak fishing, and have a huge urge to fish with rattling crank bait.

Since you are an expert, I was wondering if you could find time to answer some of my questions.

In of your photos, am I seeing an egg sinker about 18 inches above your lure?

What range of depth and sinker weight must you use to catch your bass?

Do you fish all depths or tend to favor a particular depth?

Who makes your favorite CB and which colors do you recommend that I buy?

Do you like CB that rattle?

When you fish your CB, do you drift and cast or tow your lure as you paddle your yak?

I have a million more questions, but I better stop. Thanks for taking time to read this. I hope you catch a bunch this weekend.

Thanks a bunch,
Scott A.

: Fished from 10- 12 this morning, the end of the incoming tide, found the fish in deeper water. Didn't get any within 50 yds of shore. Threw 2 different patterns of FF Shad and caught all on the green and orange. I hope the weather is like today on Saturday, overcast and fairly calm, and I would be happy if I caught the fish I caught today, only 6, but all 13-14, and 1 under the bridge was 16, the only 1 to take any line. Tryed to get a picture , holding him out at arms length, he wouldn't fit in the frame, flicked his tail and said goodbye. I'm going to try again tomorrow with Corey. Good luck to all fishing on Saturday, there is not alot of water moving, but if everything else is right there should be alot of fish weighed in. Andy
