i dragged out pretty late today, about 12:00ish, not sure what to target. for me that's usually a bad sign. i like to target a particular species each outing, that way if i actually land one i feel like a pro. anywho, i hit the baby beach peir for bait por nada. no push in the water whatsoever. i started to head over to beach and pothole the kelp till i realized that i forgot the squid. i had done the unforgiveable and told the wife i was coming home with din-din. i figured i would hit the getty for a second and catch a few skunk beaters(perch) before i hit the water. well, the bite was on and when i looked around the sun was waving good day! i only have three mouths to feed so the 5 per limit works just fine for me. i hauled in an e-z 30 fish including 5-6 juvenile bass for what came to be a fun day @ the water. i cant recall the last time i fished without the yak, but it was cool. fish & chips for momma baby & me!
