The reason why I think the soupfin is the match is that the smoothhound varieties don't have that bottom part on the tail and also the top part of the tail in the soupfin is more pronounced like the one in your picture. That's a great catch and some great pictures. Congratulations! I still can't believe the guys in the boat bugged out on you like that.
