: Johnny,

: The red line by Chillers is a road that you can drive your car right to the hand launch ramp. The bonito are around this time of year and the regulars swear the big ones come out after 3:00pm. I am never there that late so I don't know. Halibut hold through out the harbor. From about the hand launch ramp to the mouth of the harbor there is serious kelp stringers in the main channel, be careful if you are trolling.

: Post a message on this board and one at coastal on Friday and see if anyone might meet up with you. Depending on my schedule, I might go for an afternoon Sunday run with my son for bonito action depending on our schedule.

: Sharp hooks for bonito if you use live bait. I was using a small green croc. I hear rapalas work and flies work as well.

: Squid will work for bass, halibut, lizard fish, guitarfish, rays. Fishtraps for halibut and bass.

thanks for all your help. the map is a nice visual. I probably would get lost without that map. I was told that using a clear floater with a white and blue feather is a good alternative to fly fishing. Do you know about this
