Patience is the key word! I’ve fought Threshers for about 3 hours and BSB (I think) for almost 2 hours. Don't put the "T" bone to them, unless they're heading for kelp or the pier, better yet, follow that free spool advice. The "suspected" BSB never showed above 35 feet on the FF the whole time. I'd get it to 35 and it would run to 50...for almost 2 hours before I put the "T" bone to it to break it off because we were in a sea state of 4, 2 hours to paddle 2 miles. Remember, he's running up hill in full gear, he'll tire.
