i have three of these setups and found no use for the third one. its a shimano cardiff CDF100 on a 7.5ft 10-20lb med/hvy basspro graphite rod with retractible butt section. i use this setup at the SDSC bass tourneys and love it. casts very smoothly, even into the wind. centrifugal cast brakes are located on the crank side so you dont have to pull out the spool to adjust. the rod is long for longer casts. it will bend to the weight of the fish but is not a rubberband like an uglystick. very positive hooksets. light weight. space saving with the retractible butt section. ive only used the reel three times, no more than an hour each time. pristine condition. i think i used the rod maybe once. the reel retails for $110 and the rod was $20 before shipping. ill sell the setup for $100. i live in san diego. 619-742-3831 ask for ray or leave a message.
