If you have made it to the resturant you have passed the public beach and are near the bay launch area and would have to paddle the big rock out to the ocean. The cliff is to the left of the bay launch and curves from a 9 to an 11 o' clock position. The water is cold but the clarity is what is really nice, and the rocks in the water even are on the public beach side going north with other beaches north of trinidad also. Have fun there.
