: Jas,
: Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I was just at Surf to Summit's warehouse (where they make the Drifter seat) and Jeff showed me around. It was very cool.
: Anyway, I wanted to know if Ocean Kayak's Caper was comparible to the Drifter in stability, speed, tracking and fun in the waves (I'm not looking for a Yak board, I just don't want a barge).
: Thanks for your reply,
: Jimbo

>RE: The drifter is one big kayak! And I have seen the caper at a fishing contest and for me it was tiny; like a scrambler with a hatch.
If you are like me, at 180lbs,6'2" you would not buy a caper because once you got in there would be no room left.
The drifter to me was to flat a kayak to even think about, but! people still buy it because it is roomier than most kayaks, but it is still a barge.
If you ask Jas, he could tell you about the Pro Explorer to you.
