: : O.K. Guys, One more set of newbies here, Husband& wife team. Bought Malibu Kayak Pro 2 tandem, that has been out every weekend since. Beach launches getting much better and drier, landings except first day much much better. We spent last Sunday out by Rincon at local kelp for nothing but small sharks and a few large macs.Would like any info on fishing spots along Ventura coast with descent launch ( smaller surf). Thanks Jeff&Kim

: hey there, me and my bro fish off of arco island alot, the bite around the island is hit or miss, but we love drifting down the pier pilings (for some reason the current pulls you from the island all the way to the beach) just get real close to the pilings (5-10ft) and drop plastics right next to the piling and let sink, you will get hit on the way down, or the fish will hit as soon as you start to retrieve, on a good day we will c&r 20-40 fish mostly sandies but a few calicos also, lots of fun. see ya out there!

Just purchased a Malibu Kayak Pro 2 Tandem in Aug. and live in Carpinteria. Have not had much luck fishing but would enjoy any company. Maybe we can learn together. Much more fun that way. There is always Rincon, Arco Island, Carp. Reaf, and Summerland Kelp Bed. Never know what you will find. Good Luck...
