Hey Jas I just talked to your buddy in Santa Cruz. I gonna try and meet you guys down there. I will be coming down from Monterey. I fish the coast from carmel to Big Sur. Never further down. Looking forward to seing how ya rig the yaks down south.
Kinda limited on species around here. Rock cod, lings,halibut and last year sea bass. A friend of mine caught sea bass off mill creek a few years ago, but know one really hunts for them on the south coast like they should. Especially with the squid that showed this year in big sur. 100 ton of squid was netted off rocky point on monday so anything is possible. I just found your kayak sight today. coincidently your yakin this way tomorow. Hope to meet up with ya in san simeon. david
Oh hey that was me who got lucky with the 78 WSB unfortunently not from a Kayak. Although I did see someone roll their Yak while landing a fifty pounder. pounder.
