Left the house at 4, headed to Northern Cal with the hopes of scouting a site for launching the kayak. Found Trinidad Bay, a protected cove and an ocean launch on the other side of a bluff. What a place!, it is 11 miles north of Highway 299 on 101. the only info I found about it is that it has a lighthouse. Checkout the pic. Question; is it cool to moor to one of the bouys in the bay? or is it concidered taboo?
